There are now (in 1997) 24 Woodard Schools, administered by the Woodard Corporation under its five Divisional bodies, of which Lancing is head of the Southern Division. There are also two associated and 14 affiliated schools, three of the latter overseas in Malawi, USA and Australia.

  • 1860   The King's School, Tynemouth (taken over 1959)

  • 1912   Queen Ethelburga's School, Harrogate, opened in 1912. In 1991/2 transferred to Thorpe Underwood Hall and became an Affiliated School, now k/a Queen Ethelburga's College. (see below)

  • 1925   Queen Mary's School, Topcliffe, nr. Thirsk.
