Abstract:A perfect mix of rebuild, refurbishment and reconstruction captures the country village spirit of the artists and artisans whose work Ditchling Museum celebrates. Set in former school buildings, the enlarged and renovated Museum includes a converted 18th century cart lodge, linked to a new-build introductory gallery and store; the former school buildings have been renovated and remodelled, with one end becoming an education centre.
