Abstract:This research was funded by the Local Government Association Educational Research Programme and the Technology College Trust, with support from West Sussex Local Educational Authority (Advisory and Inspection Service). The overall aim of the case study was to provide initial illuminative evidence on the development and outcomes to date of Specialist School partnerships, the processes by which they work and the strategic coordinating roles of the LEA, the TCT and other bodies in ensuring that they are effective.
