Preview:On a whim, in 1995 I decided to research my family history. At that time I had a very hazy and distant recollection of my paternal grandmother Emily SAUNDERS (nee CORNEY) who died when I was little. Also fond memories of my maternal grandmother Edith Mary Louise BARTLEY (nee GODLEY), but in a family history sense, not much else.
