Preview:Matthew Hills, the son of Joseph Hills and Jane née Welland, was baptized at North Chapel on 3 June 1848. He married Sarah Millham on 30 November 1869 and they had eight children. Matthew was killed by a train 21 August 1907 which was recorded at the inquest as 'accidental death'.
