(110) FRAMFIELD, St. Thomas à Becket
Mostly built after the fire of 1509 - Nairn & Pevsner (506); the East end again rebuilt in 1842, necessitating the relocation of ledgers noted by Horsfield (Sussex I 364) from the North-East or Hempstead or Smith Chapel (see 110O) and the North side of the chancel (110D-F, J and K, etc.); a Harmer terracotta in churchyard to Ann Leadner, d. 1825.

- Engraved on a brass with a decorative alabaster surround: Edward and Margaret Gage kneel opposite to each other at a table. Behind Edward kneels one son; behind Margaret kneel five daughters. Above them, engraved in the stone surround is the inscription:
