MS 5766 f.76 & 5677 f.28; Horsfield (Sussex I 274-5) cites no monuments here.
82A Mural monument for Mary KING, d. 1822
- Chancel North wall, above head height.
- 107(W) x 177(H)~Excellent.
- Dark grey baseplate with shouldered, domed top; M.I. (10 + 6 + 3 + 3 + 4 lines, engraved) on a grey unframed marble tablet; flanked by Doric half-columns; over the capitals, an entablature with foliate decoration; base mouldings and corbels with roundel motifs; above the cornice, an escutcheon.

- A black obelisk, unadorned, rises above & behind an altar topped by a course of fluted decoration; volutes left and right; on the altar, the initials 'WC'; below, base moulding & apron with M.I. (7 lines, engraved); signed (lower left): 'L & C PARSONS / LEWES'.
