108H Wall monument for Sir William THOMAS, d. 1706

-  Standing against sanctuary South wall.

-  123(W) x 330(H)~Excellent; restored (in 2002).

-  In white, cream, grey and black marbles of exceptional quality; in pedestal form, on a black plinth; M.I. on a convex, oval panel; acanthus, scroll-work and other decoration in spandrels and frieze; above, a cornice; a black backplate supports fluted base with an elaborate achievement; flanking are standing, mourning putti, supporting arms.
