270EE Mural monument for John BARHAM, d. 1723/4, and others

-  170(W); (H) inaccessible~Excellent; colour restored.

-  In column and white marbles with pigment and gilding on decorative details and arms; signed (lower left): 'Wm. Palmer, Londini, Fecit'; above, on a curved and broken pediment, 2 mourning putti flank a flaming urn and an achievement; below, crossed trumpets and a crown against clouds; in the centre, an inscribed drapery held by 3 cherubim within a domed niche, flanked by rich fluted Corinthian. columns and a minor order of pilasters; below, elaborate base mouldings, then three elaborate corbels with acanthus decoration.
