Mostly old walls; Early English chancel, Decorated North aisle, remainder Perpendicular - Nairn & Pevsner (619-20); SNQ (XIII 315) for plan; a view of 1782 from South-East in Godfrey & Salzman (Pl. 174); condition reported as fine in 1724 report (Ford); Gunnis (Dict. 188) and Nairn & Pevsner (619) cite terracotta monument here by Harmer (one subject d. 1813) in churchyard; the parish had c.120 families in 1724 and a population of 908 in 1801.

- Portrait bust on pedestal adorned with scrolls and foliage, in a shallow arched niche with attached Corinthian columns, variegated marble flanking; outside the columns, scrolls set vertically with foliage; within, simple pilasters in darker grey marble; above, escutcheons (blank) with foliage decoration; at top, coffered pediment (no entablature); globe in centre; lamps flanking; below, decorative base moulding, brackets; ornamental apron with M.I. (engraved).
