125N Mural Monument for John COLLIER, d. 1760

- M.I. (engraved, black) fills white dome-topped tablet; immediate frame in column marbles with scroll-work and decorated work (foliage); above, no entablature but 2 scrolled brackets hold up a cornice with broken pointed pediment with achievement in the centre; on summit, an urn flanked by 2 flaming lamps; below, base mould, then a curved apron supporting a group of 3 cherubim in low relief, with central acanthus motif below and flanked by corbels with more acanthus decoration.
