140F Mural monument for Arnold NESBITT, d. 1779

-  South chapel (St. Nicholas), South wall, at head height.

-  120(W) x c.240(H)~Good; recent careful repainting (arms).

-  M.I. (9 lines, engraved, black) fills an unframed light grey marble tablet set portrait-wise; moulded entablature set above and breaking forward of grey-veined, flanking panels; below, a decorated black and white ledge, then, an ornamental black baseplate with rosettes, drops, heraldry in relief and a white corbel; above, 2 flaming urns flank a third urn draped with a delicate bead decorated against a tall black backplate in obelisk form; signed (on the urn base): 'J.Marten Sculpr / Tenterden'.
