160D Mural monument for Sir Nicholas PELHAM, d. 1559, and his wife Anne (SACKVILLE)

-  North aisle, North wall, near East end, at head height and above.

-  139(W) x 200(H) x 27(D)~Excellent (restored).

-  Alabaster and column marbles; male effigy (to right) in armour and wife (as widow) kneeling on cushions (hers tasselled); at draped prayer desk; 2 bound volumes; flanking, polished black columns (touch?); above, an entablature supporting a ceiling with drops and rosettes; helm on wall above; behind, M.I. (15 lines, engraved, black) on framed panel; decorative relief work with cherubim and trophies; below, kneeling children, four females on left, six males on right, the two eldest armoured; between, an hourglass; below, decorative base mouldings and baseplate with scrollwork and corbels, one in ball-finial form.
