164D Mural monument for Sarah and Richard BOARD, d. 1765 and d. 1782

-  South-East (Masset's) chapel, East wall, above head height.

-  75(W); at least 200(H)~Very good; heraldic colour.

-  A square white marble tablet, with a narrow border, filled with M.I. (engraved and black), on a dark grey pedestal; full cornice over; below, base moulding and curved white apron with an escutcheon; above, against a black baseplate with pointed top, an urn, draped and decorated, on a small base.

-  Sarah Board, d. 6 Oct 1765, aet 26; daughter of Francis and Ann Dalby; and wife of Richard Board, d. 25 Dec 1782, aet 50, son of John Board, Esq., of Pax Hill, Sussex, and Bridget; issue of Richard and Sarah Board - another John, Lieut.
