173C Free-standing tomb-chest for Anne RIVERS, d. 1742

-  Nave, North-West corner.

-  Top: 84(W) x 167(L); Base: 87(W) x 172(L) x 79(H)~Fine, rust stains.

-  Freestone chest; moulded white-veined marble ledger with escutcheon then M.I. (9 lines, engraved), head to West; moulded base; Four thick balusters integral with framed blank panels on four sides.

-  Anne Rivers, d. 28 May 1742, aet 47; daughter of Sir George Rivers, Bart. and Dorothea, of Chafford, Penshurst, Kent.
