- In grey-veined and white marbles; broken segmented pediments, 1 breaking forward; between, an urn and garlands in relief; flaming lamps flanking; entablature supported on Corinthian 3/4 columns; between, M.I. fills tablet with arched top and (blank) escutcheon with crossed ferns; below, generous base moulding and panelled apron between scrolled and fluted corbels; moulded corbel in centre.
- Robert Baker, Gent., of Middle House, Mayfield, d. 4 Jul 1714, aet 79; his wife, Marthanna, d. 21 Jan 1693, aet 42, only daughter and heiress of Samuell Cole, Gent., of Braybrook Castle, Northamptonshire; their issue - Samuell (died aet 21), John, Robert, Richard, George, Thomas, Marthanna (still living 1714), Elizabeth, Dorothea (still living 1714), Elizabeth, and Mary (still living 1714).
