216A Mural monument for Humphrey FOWLE, d. 1756

-  Large M.I. in grey marble set portrait-wise; flanked by fluted Doric pilasters; gadroon ornament on base moulding; fluted, scroll corbels; above, entablature; triglyphs and blank metopes in frieze; double ogive pediment; escutcheon in Baroque frame.

-  Humphrey Fowle, Esq., magistrate, etc., d. 5 Jul 1756, aet 73; his wife, Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Thomas Seyliard, Bart., of Boxley Abbey, Kent; their issue - Elizabeth, Humphrey (both dead) and Eleonora.
