- White marble on black; baseplate with pointed top; tablet set landscape-wise with pointed pediment and moulded cornice; M.I. (engraved, black) fills tablet; 3 guttae as corbels each side; signed (lower right): 'SMITH FT'.
- Margaret Collett, d. 6 May 1770, aet 36; first wife of Rev. Peter Collett, rector of Denton and curate of Rye for 30 years, d. 14 Sep 1790, aet 55; issue - 3 died in infancy; his second wife, Elizabeth, d. 11 Feb 1841, aet 95.
