306A Mural monument for William LAMBE, d. 1823

-  Nave North wall, near West end, at head height.

-  76(W) x 93(H)~Faded; local damage to base moulding.

-  M.I. (12 lines, engraved, black) on an unframed plinth; all in light grey marble; large urn with spiral fluted decoration on a foot; above, a cornice; at top, a pointed pediment with snake for eternity; quarter palmettes flanking; below, straight base moulding.

-  William Lambe, Esq., of Tilgate House, Sussex and East Hardwick, Yorkshire, magistrate, bencher of Gray's Inn, etc., d. 16 May 1823, aet 73, buried Clapham.
