306Q Mural monument for Susan GOODWIN, d. 1657/8

-  South transept, East wall, North side, at head height and above.

-  134(W) x c.220(H)~Very good; heraldic colour.

-  M.I. (engraved) on a tablet set portrait-wise; black base moulding and grey fluted corbel; cherub on entablature; curved pediment with achievement.

-  Susan Goodwin, d. 12 Feb 1657/8; daughter of Richard Wallop, Esq., of Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire, (Richard Wallop was nephew of Sir John Wallop, KG); and wife of Edward Goodwin, Esq., of Horne, Surrey; their issue - Robert, John, Benjamin and Henry, and two daughters Dorothy and Anne. Their son John Goodwin, Esq., d. 18 Feb 1674; and his wife, Katherine, daughter of Sir Richard Deane, Lord Mayor of London, had one son Deane Goodwin, Esq., d. 22 Jan 1660, and two daughters, Johanna and Sarah. The wife of Deane was Thomasin, daughter of Sir Samuel Oldfield; their issue, John (died and buried at Worth); Deane, Esq., d. 13 May 1692, buried at Worth; Charles, Katherine and Sarah (died and buried at Worth).
