306S Mural monument for George BETHUNE, d. 1803

-  Grey-veined obelisk with relief figure of mourning widow and urn; white cornice over M.I. (engraved) on white tablet with grey-veined border; moulded apron with arms; illegible traces of signature (on under face, partly plastered): 'S... London fecit' [South? Strong?].

-  Rev. George Bethune, LLD, JP, rector of Worth for 22 years and of West Chiltington, d. 16 May 1803, aet 57; his wife, Catharine, daughter of Rev. Andrew Bethune; their issue - 7 children unnamed, of whom 2 deceased.
